Babcia’s Garden
27 designs. One garden.
A book built from memory, colour, and transformation.
What began as photographs from my grandmother’s garden became a collection of kaleidoscopic artworks, each one rooted in a place that was always alive with bloom, rhythm, and care.
For lovers of flowers, colour, gardens, and meaningful art books.
My grandmother’s garden was never empty. She knew exactly where to plant each flower so that as one faded, another was just beginning. The whole season, something was always in bloom.
Babcia’s Garden is my way of preserving that feeling.
This book features 27 unique designs created from real photographs taken in her garden. Each image began as a photograph, then was rotated and mirrored into a radially symmetrical work of art. The result is a collection that feels both botanical and dreamlike, familiar and transformed.
What’s inside
Inside the book, you’ll find:
27 kaleidoscopic designs created from original garden photographs
spreads that show the original photograph beside its transformed artwork
a colour based journey that moves through the spectrum from one hue to the next
This is a book for people who love flowers, colour, pattern, memory, and the beauty of seeing ordinary things turned into something new.
Why it matters
This project is not only about flowers. It is about noticing. It is about preserving a place that mattered. It is about taking something fleeting and giving it another life through art.
Whether you’re drawn to gardens, photography, symmetry, or meaningful handmade inspired work, Babcia’s Garden was created to be slowly looked through and felt.
